Hobbies

Cherub Farming: This hobby involves dumping large amounts of mana into a single area in hopes that cherubs would form.

Journaling: As a part of his adventures, Indigo likes to write down what he sees and tastes. His journal has sketches as well as his personal thoughts.

Tastes

In Food: Indigo is a heavy carnivore. Although he does eat vegetables, it is important that he eats a lot of protein as well. He enjoys a good steak paired with mash potatoes. When he cooks, he is a bit heavy handed with spices. He also has a large sweet tooth. He enjoys sour syrups, but his guilty pleasure is eating blueberry pancakes. He does not like soft things akin to taffy or peanut butter, since his fangs get stuck. He has an irrational fear of doughnuts.

In Partners: Indigo enjoys "taking charge," so he doesn't like bossy partners. His desire for control affects his personal desires. This applies for both men and women.

Fears

Doughnuts/Circles: Indigo says this is because of how little people care about "doughnut hole syndrome." There have been zero records of a curse under this name having any victims.

Fashion

Casual Wear: For all of Indigo's outfits, he tends to wear "belts" or pre-engraved sigil paper. Besides this, he likes short to no sleeve turtlenecks. He also prefers baggy pants. He tends to wear work shoes with all his outfits.

Formal Wear: Indigo doesn't like to dress extravegantly. He will try to get away with a dress shirt and pants whenever possible.

Pajamas: He tends to sleep nude, save for underwear.

Skills

Poison

This is less potent than the venom from his fangs. He secretes a purple poison that turns his fingernails into claws. This has a paralytic effect and can cause hallucinations and discoloration in high doses.

Venom

Indigo's most potent magic is stored in his fangs. Both the poison and venom have the same effects on people. However, it is far more potent to the point of being lethal.

Sigil/Spell casting

This can be considered one of Indigo's signature skills. Using the sigil restraints on his body, Indigo can alter any physical aspect of himself. He can grow and shrink, and even turn his body to stone.

"I love you more than anything. I hope you can one day see that."
(Indigo deeply regrets the way he ended up "raising" his child.)

(In another life, they are lovers.)
"Oh Indigo, the man that you are..."
(A man who is determined to find out what happened to Indigo.)

"If I think about it too much, I realize how terrible of a man I was when younger. Maybe I still am terrible..."

Chapter One: Youth

Born in Desliza, Indigo was surrounded by death and disfigurement. Anyone born on the island is doomed to be inflicted with a curse. His people were constantly mowed down by propagators to be used as profit. He grew up to resent propagators and vowed to make a difference as soon as he could leave the island. He was eventually able to leave and found allies within Grandier's Saint Academy. There, he became an honorary student and passed the propagator's exam alongside Avariel and Reinhart.

Chapter Two: Adulthood

Indigo was barely an adult when he was given the opportunity of a lifetime. All he had to do was birth Doxa's child and, in exchange, he would be free to research with a proper team and facility. Naturally, Indigo took the opportunity. He tried his best to get used to the fortress, but he ultimately couldn't fit into Doxa's expectations. Although, that was never expected from him. He was only expected to have the heir, then disappear from Braxio entirely. When his body was able to handle it again, Indigo starting leaving for expeditions. In order to make up for his absence, he often brought his child food and souvenirs from his travels. Although he didn't know it at the time, this only served to grow their disdain of Indigo. Their time together grew shorter, and the time between visits grew longer. It wasn't until they were a teenager that they stopped talking almost completely.

Chapter Three: Main Story

Indigo's time as a teacher was rough right from the start. After losing contact with his child, Indigo's guilt became unbearable and he wanted to reconnect with Chiono at the academy. He began to stick his nose in places where it didn't belong, and found himself under a curse he could never hope to break. All he could do was plant the seeds for Chiono, and the other students, to find what he did and escape with their lives.

Indigo eventually succumbs to his curse. It eats away at his mind and body. Every attempt to warn the Grandier Saint students of their fate worsened his condition. His body was "buried" within the school's walls, waiting for someone to discover it. However, that doesn't quite mean that the man is dead...

"I cannot pretend to be proud of my past. I put in a lot of work, sure. But I've also hurt a lot of people over the years."
