Indigo is a friendly "curses and poisons" expert from Desliza. He may be the only adventurer that holds this title, but that doesn't make it any less of a serious position! Or at least, that's what he would tell you.

Chapter One: Desliza
Indigo was born on the "desolate" island known as [[Desliza]]. Due to the volatile nature of the island, Indigo was shortly mutated into a snake man after his birth. He naturally became intrigued by the mysteries surrounding the island and his own birth. Since there were so many kinds of curses on his island, Indigo was able to gather a lot of research without getting a proper education. He learned the ability to render curses null through the use of sigils. During his teenage years, he was able to gain a reputation outside of the island through helping some of the adventurers that ended up passing through. Through helping adventurers (they'd often gain a curse from staying on the island for too long), Indigo was able to raise enough money to afford to leave the island.
After leaving the island, Indigo continued his research on curses and experimented with new ways to make cures. Through the recommendation of one of his previous clients, Indigo was able to network with a few students from the [[Grandier's Saint Academy]], namely [[Avariel]] and [[Reinhart]]. Although Indigo wasn't an official student, he was very much treated like one. He sat in during the classes he cared about, and participated in multiple expeditions. Through the trust he gained with various saints, Indigo was able to run his own apothecary. Although he wasn't seen as the most trustworthy, there was enough people who believed in his methods for him to live a modest lifestyle as a travelling apotheker. Eventually, Indigo made enough of a name for himself to catch the eye of a certain monarch...
Chapter Two: Braxio
Indigo was barely an adult when he was given the opportunity of a lifetime. All he had to do was birth [[Monarch Doxa]]'s child and, in exchange, he would be free to research with a proper team and facility. Naturally, Indigo took the opportunity. He tried his best to get used to the fortress, but he ultimately couldn't fit into Doxa's expectations. Although, that was never expected from him. He was only expected to have the heir, then disappear from Braxio entirely. However, Indigo found himself to be very attached to his unborn child and promised to stay by them whenever possible.
Despite his promise, Indigo also couldn't handle staying in Braxio for very long. Not only did he want to continue his own work, he found the island to be very depressing. When his body was able to handle it again, Indigo starting leaving for expeditions. In order to make up for his absence, he often brought his child food and souvenirs from his travels. Although he didn't know it at the time, this only served to grow their disdain of Indigo. Their time together grew shorter, and the time between visits grew longer. It wasn't until they were a teenager that they stopped talking almost completely.

As his only child, Iowa is the biggest source of Indigo's stress. He may not be home very often, but he is always thinking about her. One of his favorite pastimes is doting on her. It's a shame that she doesn't seem very receptive to his affections...
